Kachanaburi was the last stop of my Thailand and Cambodia trip. It was famed by a WW2 movie "The Bridge On The River Kwai". The waterfall of Erawan National Park was the most beautiful I've ever seen...... so beautiful I had to go there twice. It's not so grand as the Niagra Falls on the Canadian/US border. Nor is it so tall as the Angel Falls in Venezuela. Its 7 tiers from the top of the mountain to the bottom, each tier with a pool of clear blue water, with fish as long as a baseball bat visible up to the 3rd tier pool, with monkeys playing in the trees...... all give the waterfall life. As I climbed up the mountain, every turn and every slope brought a different view and symphony of water.
