Wat Pho Mosaic
I was in the city of Bangkok 4 times during my trip. On my orientation day, which was supposed to be leisurely, I had 3 boat rides, 1 motor cycle ride, 1 sky train ride, 1 subway ride, at least 15 km of walking and stair climbing, and 4 blisters (2 at the bottom of my feet???). The two wats I visited were Wat Pho (The Temple of The Reclining Buddha) and Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn). People are attracted by Wat Pho because of its golden reclining buddha and Tradisional Thai Massage, while Wat Arun easily stands out on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. It was a first time for me to see buildings completely covered by 000,000's of pieces of multicolored Chinese porcelain, some of which were even whole plates and bowls.
