Guarding God
The temple of Bayon is surrounded by Angkor Thom. The city of Angkor Thom has 5 monumental gates, each of which is led to by a bridge, with 54 gods on the right and 54 demons on the left. The south gate is the most popular, as it is the most complete with restoration (most with a copy of statue head in place).
